Fulton County, Indiana
Fulton County is focused on creating a prosperous future while preserving our history.
Responsibilities
The Fulton County Emergency Management Agency is responsible for the County’s All-Hazard Comprehensive Emergency Plan and coordinates the activities of the County’s Emergency Operations Center (EOC). The EOC, when activated, is a central location where representatives of local government and private sector agencies convene during disaster/emergency situations to make decisions, set priorities and coordinate resources for response and recovery. The EOC also coordinates with the Indiana Department of Homeland Security (IDHS) and the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) to bring in additional resources, if needed, to respond and recover from any Declared Disasters/Emergencies.
