Inmate Medical
Fulton County Jail is contracted with Quality Correctional Care, (QCC) for inmate medical needs.
All inmates will see the visiting nurse within the first 14 days of incarceration. A brief physical of the health of each inmate will be conducted, and inmates will be offered the opportunity to schedule an appointment to see the visiting physician. Inmates do receive a tuberculosis screening test with the nurse visit.
In addition, inmates can have dental issues treated by the visiting dentist whenever a dental issue arises.
Charges for medical needs are:
- $10.00 per visit to see the nurse, physician or dentist
(the first initial visit with the nurse is at no charge to the inmate)
- $5.00 for prescriptions orders and refills
