Fulton County Auditor's Office

The County Auditor's office ties together the main functions of the Fulton County Government.

Most people know the Auditor as the county official who calculates their property tax bills. As the county's chief fiscal officer, the Auditor also makes sure that expenditures made anywhere in county government follow the law.

The County Council depends on the Auditor each year to certify an estimate of total taxes and other revenues that is then made available to the Board of Commissioners' budget for appropriations to other county officials, agencies and departments.
